Amarillo By Morning Guitar Intro Lesson

video
play-rounded-fill

This lesson is an except from my “Mastering The Fret Board” course, which teaches you how to understand and navigate your guitar neck. Although the intro was played by a fiddle on the recording, here’s what I play for the intro on “Amarillo By Morning”, the classic George Strait song. This is just one of many songs I use an an example for using the CAGED chord system to play solos and fill licks, by using 2 note intervals and 3 note triads.

Hi Tony! As an active member, go to the “Technique” lessons category and open the “Mastering The Fretboard” video 2. You’ll find the tab there as well. Thanks!
