Guitars And Cadillac’s Lick Idea

Here’s a lick idea I came up with that you can play over the Dwight Yoakam song “Guitars And Cadillacs”. I teach this solo and about 4 more on my Mastering The Fret Board lesson, available on DVD, download, or in the members section.
This lick is all about using intervals and double stops while playing lead guitar licks. While many times when playing this type of a lick you would follow a scale pattern, this guitar lick is a good example of using the 1-4-5 chords instead. It also has a flatted 7th interval, which is out of a G chord in this case.
