Yeah, I know it’s not a country song. But I like it and by todays standard it’s more “country” than most of what I hear on the radio! I was inspired to make this lesson after hearing Raul Malo from The Mavericks recording of it. He sang it in the key of D instead of the original key of E, but they had to detune the guitars to play the lick as the Hollies did. So I came up with my own variation of the intro lick using a drop D tuning.
